At 19 on Thursday evening, two perpetrators threatened a man and a woman with gun-like objects and forced a car outside Harlösa. The perpetrators then drove from the scene with the car.

About 30 minutes later, the police caught sight of the car on the E22 between the Lund traffic stop and the Gårdsstanga traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle then increased the speed and then drove off the road at a roundabout and rolled out on a cycle path.

The man who was driving the vehicle was injured and received first aid from the police before the emergency services and ambulance arrived at the scene. The man was then taken to hospital.

"The person is suspected of serious robbery and as soon as possible he should be questioned," said police spokesman Rickard Lundqvist.
