“An exchange of assessments took place following the results of the meeting of the Contact Group on April 20-22, this year. in the context of the recommendations of the “Norman Four” summit in Paris on December 9, 2019 about concrete steps to comprehensively implement the Minsk “Package of Measures,” the Russian foreign ministry said.

Lavrov stressed the need to resolve all issues in Ukraine through a direct dialogue between the parties to the intra-Ukrainian conflict in accordance with the Minsk Agreements.

The parties also discussed the situation related to the optimization of the work of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine against the background of the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.

In addition, Lavrov and the OSCE Secretary General discussed some issues of interaction between Russia and the OSCE.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Minister said that Ukraine was sabotaging the political part of the agreements reached at the Norman summit in Paris.
