As the Petersburg Diary reports, the only exception may be the burial of the deceased.
The city ritual service of St. Petersburg noted that the ban on visiting cemeteries also applies to columbaria.
“These are the same cemeteries, and the ban applies to them. An exception is a funeral, ”the employee explained.
Earlier in Moscow, the cemetery was temporarily closed for visiting to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
