The Ministry of Health and Community Protection revealed 241 new cases of Corona virus (Covid 19) recorded, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 1505, and 17 new cases recovered, bringing the total recovered cases from the virus to 125 cases, and the Ministry recorded one death, bringing the total number of deaths 10 cases.

This came during a regular briefing to the Emirates government to keep abreast of the latest developments related to the emerging corona virus (Covid 19).

The official spokesman for the health sector in the country, Dr. Farida Al Hosani, stressed the need to wear a mask for people who suffer from respiratory symptoms, as well as healthy people to prevent infection, and in the absence of a medical mask, the alternative option is to cover the nose and mouth using paper masks, or home-made masks from Cotton or mixed cotton, with sure to re-wash it, it is important to change the mask when it becomes wet, contaminated or damaged after use, and not to reuse the one-use mask, and the fabric mask can be used for a longer time, and then wash it well at the end of the day, while maintaining Not to touch it or share it with others.

Al-Hosani pointed out that the past few days are expected to witness an increase in the number of discovered cases, as a result of the expansion of the scope of the examination, intensive "pre-emptive checks", which are conducted by the competent authorities on a large scale to detect the injured and contacts, and stressed the need to adhere to physical distance, and not to leave Home only for necessity.

And she asked the public not to publish false rumors and news, and not to pre-empt events without waiting for official decisions.

She stated that it is important when home stone to provide a single room for a person with his own toilet, and to leave any items he may need at the door without any direct contact with him, in addition to keeping personal items and using them separately from others such as towels, utensils and others.
