As the movement of population is limited due to the fear of the spread of Corona19, and consumption and production are shrinking, layoffs are centered around American and European companies.

It is feared that it will repeat the vicious cycle of increasing consumption and firing again by intensifying consumption and economic slowdown.

According to the Associated Press, hundreds to thousands of layoffs at a time have been followed by manufacturers that stopped the plant due to concerns about infection with Corona 19, as well as industries such as hotels, airlines, and travel that were hit directly by Corona 19.

A union officer at Philadelphia International Airport in the US told local media that 600 to 1,000 people would leave the company by next Monday.

Unpaid leave can be paid for unemployment, which is effectively a temporary layoff.

Three major automakers, including GM, are temporarily shutting down North American plants, with 150,000 workers playing.

This is also true of Japanese automakers such as Toyota and Honda.

Self-employed people, such as restaurants, pubs, theaters, and gymnasiums, suffered even more damage by stopping business at the command of the authorities without time to prepare for the Corona 19 shock.

Powells, a famous bookstore in Portland, USA, closed five floors last week and fired more than 300 employees.

Compass Coffee, a small coffee chain in Washington, exported 150 people, 80% of all employees.

The impact of the travel industry is even greater.

The American Travel Association predicts that in the aftermath of Corona 19, 4.6 million jobs in the travel industry will disappear and the unemployment rate in the travel industry will rise from the current 3.5% to 6.3%.

John Boltz, CEO of Pebble Brook Hotel, says he has 54 hotels in New York, San Francisco, and Seattle.

The hotel has since laid off more than 4,000 people, half of its total staff, since Corona 19, and said it is likely to lay off 2,000 more by the end of this month.

In Europe, official statistics have not yet been compiled, but hundreds to thousands of people are being laid off at once.

Norwegian Airways returned as many as 7,300 people home, and the UK's large, low-cost airline Flybee went to court and lost 2,000 jobs.

In Spain, it was estimated that 100,000 people were laid off in the automotive industry alone, with Volkswagen urging 14,000 employees to take unpaid leave.
