After his return from a visit to China on Friday, Mongolia put its president in quarantine, to be the first head of state in quarantine due to concerns about the emerging virus.

The Mongolian news agency said that President Khaltma Batulga was quarantined, one day after his visit to China and an interview with President Qi Jinping, Reuters reported.

Patulga is the first head of state to enter quarantine, due to the Coruna virus, which has spread from the Chinese city of Wuhan around the world, without specifying the Mongolian agency if the matter was merely a precaution.
