February witnessed many joyful and sad events in the life of former Egyptian President Mohamed Hosni Mubarak, beginning with the fulfillment of the first dream in his career as well as the bitterness of the memory of stepping down from power leaving behind the largest political position as President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, until the date of his departure, where he died, Today, Tuesday, February 25, 2020, at the age of 92.

On the first occasion in the history of Mubarak, I wrote in February that dates back to 1949, when he obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Military Sciences and graduated with the rank of second lieutenant, then joined the Air Force College, and in the same month, but after more than two decades, specifically after the end of the October War, as Mubarak rose to the rank of A pilot team in February 1974, according to what was reported in Al-Watan and Al-Masry newspapers today.

Although the month of February at the beginning of Mubarak's march was a history that holds happy occasions in his professional and personal life as well, as it coincides with the birthday of his wife, Suzan, who was born in the city of Matai in Minya Governorate, in recent years he carried painful memories that eventually led to his leaving the presidency after a while A sentence that lasted 30 years.

Perhaps the most painful memories that were engraved in Mubarak’s memory are his last three speeches before stepping down after the outbreak of the revolution of January 25, 2011, when he went out for the second time speaking to the Egyptian public on February 1, 2011, declaring at the time not to run for presidential elections again, He called for amending articles in the constitution, but this did not stop the development of the crisis at the time.

On February 11, 2011, his deputy, Omar Suleiman, announced that President Hosni Mubarak stepped down from the ruling and mandated the Supreme Council of the Armed Forces to manage the affairs of the country, as Tahrir Square in the center of Cairo buzzed with the joy of protesters who had staged a sit-in for about two weeks.

Also in February 2014, Mubarak and his two sons witnessed a trial in a new case for seizing public funds.

Also in February, Al-Deeb announced the lawyer of former Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, that his client has been in intensive care in the hospital for more than a month.

Also, Al-Deeb's statement that Mubarak received the criminal court’s ruling last Saturday, which ruled innocent his two sons Alaa and Jamal in the case of manipulating the stock exchange, in a state of pleasure and happiness despite his health condition, saying: “Praise be to God, our Lord, our half of us after many years.”
