His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, announced a contribution to support the hospital, equal to the total contributions of "entrepreneurs of hope" of businessmen, to double the value to 88 million dirhams.

The volume of donations at the ceremony reached 44 million dirhams, during which "pioneers of hope" from businessmen, institutions and companies competed to translate their social responsibility by supporting a large humanitarian edifice.

The "Makers of Hope" ceremony witnessed the largest donation campaign of its kind live, through the pledge of a number of businessmen and institutions in the Emirates to donate to the project.

The new hospital will provide free treatment and perform more than 12,000 surgeries annually for cardiac patients in the Arab world, specifically children, as 70% of its operations are devoted to them without charge.

The hospital also provides world-class health care services, free of charge, for heart patients who cannot afford the costs of treatment, medication and health follow-up.

The hospital includes an integrated group of outpatient clinics, whose annual capacity exceeds 80,000 patients.

With its modern equipment and world-class operating rooms, the hospital provides training for more than 1,000 doctors and surgeons specializing in heart disease, within the Education and Training Center of the Majdi Yaqoub Foundation for Cardiology and Research, while the medical, scientific and research staff in the hospital sets up a detailed genetic map of heart diseases in the Arab world, based on To the records of cases and the results of research and the results of experiences and scientific observations, to develop the mechanisms of diagnosis and early treatment intervention for heart diseases in the Arab region.
