“The employer is obliged to notify each employee by June 30 about a change in the law and the right to choose,” RIA Novosti quoted her as saying.

She noted that there should be two main points in the notification: “that the legislation has changed and that the employee has the right to choose how to continue to keep information about the labor activity or work book”.

Belyantseva also added that the application from the employee should be submitted only after notification.
