It was on October 4 that a delivery of national tests came to a school in Nässjö. Delivery was received at reception and digitally acknowledged. Then, the box of 25 national samples was placed in a copy room. The employee who received the consignment was not informed of the special handling to be done of consignments marked "to the principal".

Later in the day, it was found that the national tests had disappeared.

Changed routines

The School Inspectorate now criticizes the municipality's inadequate handling of the tests which risked that the test questions would become known in advance.

In a reply to the School Inspectorate, the municipality has explained how it has now tightened the routines to receive this type of mail.

Among other things, this means that mailings addressed to the headmaster should only be opened by the person. The Vice-Chancellor is responsible for ensuring that national samples are stored in a locked room where only a limited number of employees have access.

The School Inspectorate considers that the updated routines that the municipality has made are sufficient and therefore refrain from intervening in any further way.
