Aircraft Novosibirsk - Moscow landed in Tyumen due to a stroke in a passenger

The plane of Smartavia airline, flying from Novosibirsk to Moscow, made an unplanned landing in Tyumen due to the deterioration in the health of one of the passengers, RIA Novosti reports.



According to the carrier’s press service, at 07:20 Moscow time, the flight control center received a message saying that on flight 5N238, the person became ill.

At 07:49 Moscow time, the aircraft successfully landed at the Tyumen airport Roshchino, the company representative informed. Several ambulances were brought aboard. Doctors diagnosed a 59-year-old passenger with a stroke, he is currently hospitalized.

A total of 165 passengers were on board. After all the necessary operations, the Boeing 737 flew to Moscow.

On February 10, it was reported that NordStar's Boeing had returned to Krasnoyarsk Airport due to retracted flaps.
