This summer, 250 summer vacancies are needed in the Prison Service in the West Region. In order to attract people to the profession, they have released a trailer where there is a cell and VR technology to show how the facility looks. "It's hard for people to visit us, so we have to show up in the community," says Niklas Andersson, chef at the Prison and Probation Service.
In total in the country 1800 summer vacancies are needed. Therefore, the Prison and Probation Service now visits several different places in the country and informs about the profession. On Tuesday, they stopped in Halmstad where visitors had a chance to look at what a cell might look like.
