German-Iranian architect Nahid Taghavi has been in prison in Tehran since 2020. She was finally granted prison leave - which now came to an abrupt end.

Her daughter Mariam Claren wrote on Thursday that her mother was "arbitrarily and without reason" ordered back to the notorious Evin detention center in the capital Tehran. The Foreign Office wrote on X that Taghvi should receive medical treatment, not prison. The architect is one of several Germans imprisoned in Iran.
