Now Eskilstuna will be trained in the new Children's Act

2020-02-17T04:39:23.604Z

Internal education has now begun with politicians and managers in Eskilstuna after the Children's Convention has become Swedish law. Then it is the local residents' turn.

Already last year, municipal developer Sirpa Lindelöf began talking to managers and politicians about the new law and how it can affect it.

- We have a network of representatives from the various administrations, she says.

It is not only in administrations that directly affect the children that the law has an impact.

Must think about the kids

- In the past when, for example, an adult sought help for various reasons, the children did not think about it, you have to do that now and also talk to them, says Sirpa Lindelöf.

- On our intranet we have published a small toolbox with, among other things, web training and facts that you can use in the business, she says.
