Larisa Solovyova, the head of the department for the organization of outpatient medical care of the St. Petersburg Health Committee, said that at the moment, specialists have begun to train ambulances and hospital staff in the necessary actions for patients infected with coronavirus.

According to her, patients with suspected illness are planned to be delivered to the Botkin hospital, which has the best equipment.

In the event of a disease threat, a specific action plan has been developed for medical personnel.

“What causes suspicion: a very high temperature, often a dry cough, chest tightness,” Solovyova emphasized.

To date, Rospotrebnadzor has not recorded cases of infection with a new coronavirus in Russia.

Earlier, the president of the National Medical Chamber, children's surgeon Leonid Roshal, in an interview with the Parliamentary newspaper, assessed the situation with the spread of coronavirus.
