“Bills have already been developed that will simplify the procedure for acquiring citizenship for our closest neighbors - the citizens of Belarus and Ukraine, whom we propose to free from being interviewed in the knowledge of the Russian language,” TASS quoted Kazakova as saying.

According to her, also for citizens of Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Moldova, it is possible to obtain Russian citizenship after obtaining a residence permit.

Earlier, as the newspaper Izvestia wrote, Kazakova reported that more than 200 thousand residents of Donbass received a Russian passport in 2019.
