Privacy, 11.5 million fines to Eni Gas and Luce

18.51 The Privacy Guarantor has applied two penalties to Eni Gas and Luce for a total of 11.5 million euros. The first sanction, of 8.5 million, concerns illegal processing of personal data in the context of promotional activities. The second, of 3 million, is inherent in violations in the conclusion of unsolicited contracts, in the free market for the supply of energy and gas. The sanctions were established taking into account the parameters indicated in the EU Regulation. Eni reserves the right to appeal.
