“Over the nine months of 2019, traffic police officers issued more than 100 million decisions on the imposition of administrative fines,” the agency reports to TASS.
Earlier, the traffic police reported that during the New Year holidays, on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, 475 drivers were detained in Moscow.
In December 2019, it became known that the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, together with the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media, is considering the possibility of creating an application that will allow to record cases of traffic violations and send data about them to the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
