This Wednesday morning, on the eve of the big day of strike, agents from the Metropolis and the city of Toulouse therefore blocked access to the central kitchen.

So that the 20,000 meals of the day could not be delivered to the Toulouse canteens, the senior and social restaurants of Le Ramier. The children were still able to eat. Staff served the emergency meal, available in all schools in the event of confinement.

Much thrown away

Of the 20,000 meals prepared by the central canteen, 350 were recovered by the Restos du Coeur, part will be distributed this Thursday evening at the Ramier social center, but the vast majority has been thrown away.
