Yesterday, 4,766 students of determination resumed their work in 70 government and private centers nationwide, according to the latest data issued by the Ministry of Community Development.

In the UAE, there are many governmental and private centers, clubs, and institutions concerned with the conditions of people of determination, and providing education, training, and rehabilitation for them. The Ministry of Community Development is the authority responsible for issuing licenses to institutions and centers working in the field of care, education and training of people of determination. It also undertakes the task of developing care and rehabilitation programs and methods, preparing professional training programs and following up on their implementation and supervision.

People of Determination Centers provide a set of educational and rehabilitation services aimed at developing the skills of people of determination in various fields, and integrating them into public social life. These services include physical and functional therapy services to develop motor skills, language therapy, in addition to psychological evaluation services, behavior modification, and services Educational classes that focus on students' cognitive skills and general life.

As for the vocational rehabilitation stage in these centers, it is directed towards skills that support independence and job giving in order to enable those with determination to have the skills required of them in the field of work, which supports their access to appropriate job opportunities.

The Ministry registers the students enrolled in these centers via an electronic file, whereby the electronic registration process is transferred to the specialists in the eligibility committee, who are responsible for deciding the cases through the Ministry's internal network.
