The Emir of the State of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, discussed with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), the latest developments on the Palestinian scene.
The Emir of Qatar, during his reception today to Haniyeh and his accompanying delegation, affirmed his country's steadfast and supportive stance to the Palestinian people to achieve their legitimate national rights.
According to the Qatar News Agency (QNA), Haniyeh briefed the Emir of Qatar on the latest developments in the Palestinian arena, especially the unfair siege of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.
In this regard, the Head of the Political Bureau expressed his thanks to the Emir of Qatar for the estimated efforts undertaken by Doha in supporting the Palestinian people.
