According to him, the Ukrainian president, Vladimir Zelensky, wanted to try to make changes to the Minsk agreements, despite the fact that the Russian side was on the opposite - "leave everything as it is."

“As the discussions told me, indeed, the conversation was in high tones, and for some time there were even ideas to seriously revise the document, which was agreed in September, but the firmness of our leader prevented this,” the deputy minister said.

Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky called for a change in the provisions of the Minsk Agreements that relate to border control. He noted that four years have passed since the signing of the Minsk Agreements - "everything changes in our life."

Spokesman for the Russian President Dmitry Peskov commented on the proposals.
