Oreshkin spoke about the results of negotiations between Putin and Lukashenko

Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maxim Oreshkin spoke about the results of negotiations between Russian leader Vladimir Putin and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko in Sochi.



“In a number of areas, in agriculture, in communications, in customs, in regulating the oil market, they actually made serious progress, even on the issue of oil and gas, the positions of the parties were very seriously brought together,” RIA Novosti quoted Oreshkin as saying.

He also said that the next meeting of the leaders of Russia and Belarus is scheduled for December 20 in St. Petersburg.

It was previously reported that negotiations between Putin and Lukashenko have ended. They lasted more than 5.5 hours.

It was noted that Lukashenko during a meeting with Putin in Sochi noted that Minsk was ready to buy oil and gas from Moscow on equal economic conditions.
