As noted, among the proposed measures is the introduction of an “effective mechanism of protection against the discrediting of the judiciary in the media” and “suppression of abuse by individual representatives” of the media.
It is also proposed to introduce responsibility for the media for “lobbying the interests of individuals” by placing on a commercial basis “negative materials on the activities of the courts”.
In late September, the Moscow City Court said that the content of a number of publications in the case of actor Pavel Ustinov speaks of disrespect for the court and provocation of Judge Alexei Krivoruchko.
On November 11, investigators opened criminal proceedings due to threats of murder and personal injury to a judge of the Moscow City Court. In the case of extremism and threats, Alexey Veresov was sent to a judge under arrest.
Another person involved in this case was also arrested - a resident of Elektrostal near Moscow, Yevgeny Yerzunov.
