Stade de Reims (Ligue 1) was released Tuesday by the criminal court while being pursued by one of his former players, Anatole Ngamukol, who felt he had suffered a "moral harassment".

Absent at the hearing on 1 October, Mathieu Lacour and David Guion, respectively general manager and coach of the professional team of the Stade de Reims, had been the subject of a direct quote from the attacker, dismissed for misconduct in November 2018 while he had one year of contract to honor.

In their reasons, the judges justify that "the civil party does not demonstrate any of the constituent elements of the offense", believing that "sports choices (...) only met the highest esteem that the civil party has of itself ". Her lawyer, Me Delphine Meillet, announced her choice to appeal.

On 1 October, Mr Ngamukol, who played at the Stade de Reims between 2007 and 2009 (two matches) and between 2017 and 2018 (29 games, two goals), explained how he was "put in the closet" at the continuation of the accession in Ligue 1 of the club, acquired in May 2018.

David Guion, as well as the president of his club, Jean-Pierre Caillot, would have informed him that they did not count on him the following season.

The lawyer of the Stade de Reims, Me Rodolphe Bosselut, for his part focused his argument on "the reaction of wounded pride" Anatole Ngamukol, recalling that "the power of selection is consubstantial coaching".

The prosecution did not require a conviction.
