The FSB and the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out searches in 12 regions in places of residence of sellers and buyers of smuggled gunpowder.
82 kg of gunpowder, 14 units of firearms and more than nine thousand rounds of various calibers were seized from illicit trafficking. The activities of three clandestine workshops that were engaged in the modernization of civilian weapons into combat analogues and the manufacture of cartridges were also suppressed.
