The 30-year-old French actress, doubly césarisée, who claimed to have been a victim of "touching" and "harassment" on the part of director Christophe Ruggia, finally decided to file a complaint against him. said his lawyers Tuesday in a statement.

The case began in early November with the publication of a survey on the Mediapart news site.

The actress denounced the "influence" that the director Christophe Ruggia would have exerted on her during the preparation and filming of the movie The Devil , the first role of the actress, then aged 13.

Adèle Haenel also claimed to have been the subject of "permanent sexual harassment", repeated "touching" and "forced kisses in the neck", at the director's and at several international festivals, until she was 15 years old. .

However, the actress chose not to go to court, denouncing " systemic violence against women in the justice system " and the lack of convictions in this type of case.

Faced with these accusations, Christophe Ruggia, explained to him to have " made the mistake of playing the Pygmalion ", but denied any aggression.

Despite the absence of a complaint, the Paris prosecutor's office decided a few days later to open an investigation for "sexual assault" on a minor under 15 years of age "by person in authority" and "sexual harassment".

Hearing this November 26 as part of this investigation, the actress finally decided to file a complaint.
