14 November 201916.33 The CSM Plenum, chaired by the Head of State, appointed Giovanni Salvi as the new Pg of the Cassation by majority. Salvi is currently the attorney general of Rome. He takes the place of Riccardo Fuzio, who resigned in July, after being investigated by the prosecutor's office of Perugia for disclosure of official secrets, on the sidelines of the inquiry into the prosecutor Palamara. Salvi beat the Pg of Naples Riello and the general lawyer of the Cassation Matera.
