“The joint patrol, which started from the Deira-Naaga customs crossing point, crossed a 105-km route in about four hours and completed its work by returning to its starting point,” RIA Novosti reports.

As noted, on the route the patrol inspected the situation in the Syrian settlements.

The patrol consisted of eight units of military equipment: Typhoon, Tiger and BTR-80 armored vehicles from the Russian side and Kirpi armored vehicles of the Turkish border service, as well as about 50 military personnel of both countries.

Real-time monitoring of the situation along the route of the convoy was provided by the Orlan-10 drone of the Russian military police.

Earlier, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported that the Russian and Turkish military began the third joint patrol to the north-east of the village of El-Kamyshly in Syria.
