Türkiye: 147 people suspected of belonging to the jihadist group IS arrested. Follows around forty other arrests in recent days of suspected members of the terrorist organization, which claimed responsibility for last Friday's attack in Moscow.
Two of the suspects in this attack had also passed through Turkey. Police operations against the Islamic State group are frequent in Turkey, a country neighboring Syria and Iraq, reports RFI correspondent in Istanbul, Anne Andlauer. In the last ten months alone, authorities say they have arrested more than 2,900 people.
