Shvydko and Krikalyov received the Japanese Order of the Rising Sun

It is noted that Shvydkoi was awarded the Order of the second degree, Krikalev received the award of the third degree.

It is also reported that a total of 4,113 citizens of Japan and 136 foreigners from 66 countries received this award.

On October 25, it was reported that the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia, Cyril, would come to Japan in September 2020 to take part in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the canonization of Equal-to-the-Apostles Nicholas of Japan.
