A 16-year-old Asian girl was killed yesterday after falling from the top of a tower on Sheikh Zayed Road from the 17th floor while trying to take a picture of herself, at the edge of the balcony of her apartment with her family.
According to Colonel Faisal Al Qasem, Director of Dubai Police Security Information Department, the girl was trying to photograph herself in a selfie shot standing on a chair adjacent to the edge of the barrier on the balcony of the apartment. He described her sister, who witnessed the incident, which slipped over the chair she was standing on and falling from above, while the phone fell in the balcony in a dramatic dramatic, where she died.
