Patrick Reslow has told Aftonbladet that he was staying at the hotel himself but an employee of the hotel in Singapore believes that the whole family stayed in the room during the trip in January.

- The reservation is for two adults and one child, says an employee of the five-star hotel to the newspaper.

The taxpayers are suspected to have received the bill of over SEK 30,000. The Riksdag's rules state that members must account for 25 percent of the cost if they have accompanying persons staying overnight.

When Patrick Reslow was previously confronted with information that he had the family with him on trips and lived in hotels without reporting it, he has said: “In some cases, or in almost all these cases, I have booked the hotels in order for the family to go with. Then they did not come along, but still in the booking it says that there are three people who will live in the room, but only I live there, ”he tells Swedish Radio Ekot.

An investigation is underway if this is criminal.

Patrick Reslow comes from Malmö and has been sitting in Parliament since 2010, then for the moderates. In 2017 he changed party to the Sweden Democrats.
