A man has been arrested for a crime of gender violence in Vitoria after his partner suffered injuries when he fell from the window of his home located on the first floor when he tried to flee the house since the arrested person prevented him from going out door.

As reported by the Local Police of the city in a statement, this Sunday the agents moved to the Adurza neighborhood alerted by a phone call that denounced that a woman had fallen to the street from her home.

When they arrived they found a man and a woman lying on a bed, sore and swollen ankles. Apparently, they were both a couple and had an argument during which the man prevented the woman from leaving the home so she tried to leave by hanging out the window .

The victim fell and was injured and therefore the agents arrested his partner, a 33-year-old man, accused of crimes of gender violence and coercion.

On Saturday, another 48-year-old man was also arrested for the same crime in the Zabalgana neighborhood. A patrol person appeared at home because a strong discussion was taking place, in which according to witnesses death threats were heard and a woman cried and shouted.

During the weekend, the Local Police also arrested two women of 44 and 34 years as alleged authors of two crimes of domestic violence. The first intervention took place in a house in the neighborhood of Coronación, in which a woman assaulted her parents during an argument.

After interviewing the victims, the officers arrested the alleged aggressor who hours later went to court.

The second arrest occurred when a citizen claimed a police presence in an apartment in the Santa Lucia neighborhood because he had been assaulted by his 34-year-old sister. Agents observed the marks of the aggression and arrested the woman.

On the other hand, the urban guard of Vitoria also arrested a young man of 22 years as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of attack on agents of the authority with minor injuries. The agents agreed to a floor where an argument was taking place and the now detained attacked with a knife against one of them.

Another woman was also arrested for the same cause, in addition to severe resistance and disobedience, domestic violence, driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages and for refusing to do mandatory testing.

According to the Local Police, a taxi driver requested his presence on Euskal Herria Boulevard Street, where a vehicle had crossed and forced him to stop. From him the driver got off, who, in a very altered state, began to attack the taxi driver's client, apparently his ex-partner.

Agents asked the woman to take the breathalyzer test, but she refused. In addition, he tried to leave the place invading the road on foot several times, so he was finally arrested.
