“These sanctions, which consist of a ban on travel to the EU and freezing assets for individuals and legal entities, are currently applied to nine people: five of them are related to the Syrian regime, and four are involved in the Salisbury attack,” TASS quoted as saying .

The report said that the sanctions list also includes a research center in Syria, which is suspected of "developing chemical weapons."
