In Saratov, nine-year-old girl Lisa Kiseleva was buried, the victim disappeared on October 9 on her way to school, and then was found dead. Farewell to her took place in the church of the Supreme Apostles Peter and Paul.

After the funeral, those who wished to say goodbye to the girl were allowed into the church. According to RIA Novosti, hundreds of Saratov residents gathered at the temple, some were with children.

The ceremony lasted about two hours. Many residents brought flowers and soft toys, which were later placed in a lorry and sent to the Storozhevsky cemetery after the coffin with the girl’s body.

During the funeral, according to TASS, police officers were on duty to monitor the order and regulate the movement, as well as doctors. About 100 people attended the funeral.

Recall that on the morning of October 9, a schoolgirl left home and went to school, but she never appeared in the building of a general educational institution. The officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and volunteers of the Lisa Alert detachment began searching for the missing woman on the same day. A criminal case was also opened on the grounds of a crime under subsection “c” of part 2 of article 105 of the Criminal Code (murder of a minor).

The body of the murdered girl was discovered in a garage box between the school and her house at about 1 a.m. on October 11. Later that day, investigators identified the person who may be involved in the murder of the girl.

Soon, on suspicion of involvement in the crime, 35-year-old Mikhail Tuvatin, a previously convicted resident of Saratov, was detained. From 2008 to 2010, he was serving a sentence in a colony for theft, and in April 2011 he was sentenced to six and a half years for robbery and rape.

He gave a confession and spoke about what happened. According to him, he arbitrarily took possession of an abandoned garage and changed the castle there. The girl found him in this room and asked who it belongs to. The attacker suggested that the garage could be in the possession of the girl’s family and, frightened by the exposure, dragged her into the garage and killed her.

On October 12, Tuvatin was arrested for a period of two months. The issue of his arrest was considered in a court of the neighboring city of Engels behind closed doors due to the fact that the crime was committed against a child.

“By a decision of the judge of the Volzhsky District Court of Saratov Ryblov dated October 12, the petition was approved, and Tuvatin chose a preventive measure of two months in custody,” RIA Novosti quoted the court as saying.

Checking the work of the district

The Ministry of Internal Affairs plans to evaluate the work of a local police officer who was engaged in preventive work against a man suspected of murdering. This was reported by the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Saratov Region.

The statement notes that the previously convicted Tuvatin was released from prison in 2017, after which he was put on a preventive account. In accordance with the regulatory documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was checked every quarter.

“During the checks, there were no complaints from neighbors about domestic behavior, as well as alcohol abuse, he was not brought to administrative responsibility,” Perepelova said.

The department said that a specific assessment of the preventive work of the precinct will be given as part of an ongoing audit.

Earlier, the search squad “Lisa Alert” published a memo on how to ensure the safety of the child under various scenarios, in particular, on the street, in public places and when communicating with strangers.

The published instruction includes five points: “Do not let the child go one”, “Teach the child to behave properly with strangers”, “Build the child’s routes so that there are no dangerous objects along the way”, “Teach the child to tell you when he leaves school, came home or to a friend ”,“ Do not be afraid to attract as many people as possible to search. ”

“Of course, it is impossible to foresee everything in order to avoid a tragedy, but by observing simple safety rules, you can reduce the risk to a minimum. We really want these tragedies to no longer be repeated, therefore we again draw your attention to the basic rules, ”the volunteer association said in a statement.
