In Russia, sales of flowers, cakes and strawberries increased over the year before March 8. The average price for flowers in March 2024 was about 1.5 thousand rubles.
Analysts noted an increase in sales of strawberries (by 16%), champagne (by 9%), wine (by 5%), soft toys (by 17%) and jewelry (by 13%). At the same time, smartphone sales fell by 22% compared to the same period in 2023. In total, more than 56 billion cash receipts were analyzed.
