JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia (Reuters) - A fire broke out at the Al-Haramain Express train station in the coastal city of Sulaimaniya in the Saudi port city of Jeddah on Sunday, the civil defense directorate said.

For its part, the Emirate of Mecca said that a fire broke out in the roof of the train station in Al-Haramain in Jeddah without registering any injuries.

The Haramain railway line cost 6.7 billion euros ($ 7.3 billion) and runs 450 km (300 miles) and connects the cities of Mecca and Medina with the Red Sea city of Jeddah. The project opened in September last year.
