As the senator noted on his Twitter page, Zelensky’s statement that elections in the territories of Donbass not controlled by Kiev are possible only after the withdrawal of “all troops” from there, raises questions.

“So far, Zelensky has a program for their non-implementation instead of a plan for the implementation of the Minsk agreements. What troops is he waiting for the withdrawal for the elections in Donbass? ”He wrote.

Along with this, the politician added that the Minsk agreements signed by the Ukrainian authorities do not say anything about any troops, while they contain clauses about the special status of Donbass and amnesty, against which Kiev is currently opposed.

“Confusion,” concluded Pushkov.

Earlier, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadim Pristayko said that the Ukrainian side is preparing a package of proposals aimed at simplifying the lives of people in the Donbass.

Former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Oleg Tsaryov, in an interview with the NSN, assessed the chances of the President of Ukraine to achieve peace in the Donbass.
