“The Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Yaroslavl region opened a criminal case under part 5 of Art. 264 (Violation of the rules of the road and the operation of vehicles, resulting in the death of two or more persons through negligence) of the Criminal Code of Russia, ”the Interior Ministry said.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee began an audit in connection with an accident in the Yaroslavl region.
According to the traffic police, on September 14, on a Yaroslavl-Zayachiy hill-Ivanovo road, a truck drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a bus. At least seven people died, about 20 more were injured.
