This was reported on the website of the state unitary enterprise (State Unitary Enterprise) of Lugansk People's Republic of Lugansk "Luganskvoda".

“According to the KP“ Popasnyansky District Vodokanal ”, on September 14, due to a sharp decrease in pressure in the Petrovsky water main, the Petrovskaya pumping station was accidentally stopped from 7:30,” the statement said.

It is clarified that, presumably, the rupture of the pipeline occurred on the right bank of the Seversky Donets River, near the contact line of the side.

According to the enterprise, the inspection of this section of the pipeline and emergency recovery work to eliminate the rush will begin immediately after obtaining approval from the joint center for monitoring and coordinating the ceasefire (JCCC) and the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission.

“As a result of the shutdown of the Petrovsky pumping station, the water supply to the villages of the Slavyanoserbsky district was stopped: Raevka, Liman, Svetloye, Shishkovo, Stukalova Balka, Metallist, Tsvetnye Sands, Veselaya Gora, Privetnoye and Oboznoe,” the message said.

It is noted that the specialists of Luganskvoda have already completed the necessary switching of valves to supply water from urban sources. If necessary, at the request of the village councils, water will be delivered.

On August 5, it became known that the Ukrainian city of Energodar, Zaporizhzhya region, was disconnected from the hot water supply, as its residents had accumulated debts for drainage and water supply services.
