Earlier, the government of the Amur region announced the payment of 13.7 million rubles to the flood-affected residents of the region.

In early September, the first deputy head of EMERCOM of Russia Alexander Chupriyan announced the stabilization of the flood situation in the Far East. According to him, the main efforts are aimed at strengthening and building up protective dams in the urban district of Komsomolsk-on-Amur. On September 1, the Ministry of Emergency Situations announced that in the Far Eastern Federal District in four regions 85 settlements remained flooded, more than 3.3 thousand people were involved in the liquidation, 803 pieces of equipment were involved.
