The message means SEK 1650 more in the wallet annually for taxpayers in all of the county's municipalities - except Umeå. The reduction is equally great for residents in what is called support area A and B - SEK 137 per month.
The reduction will apply now from the turn of the year but will not be noticed directly on the payroll. As the Swedish Tax Agency will not be able to attend, the tax reduction will land on the declaration in 2021.
- From the beginning of the year 2021 we hope that it will be marked every month. It will be a tax reduction for citizens living in these municipalities, says Anton Stark, press secretary at the Center Party.
The tax reduction will start to apply from the turn of the year and will lead to the state receiving SEK 1.35 billion a year in reduced tax revenues.
