Mr. Huang Yong, an executive of Hong Kong democracy group “Hong Kong Shuji”, held a press conference in Taiwan, criticized that the withdrawal of the ordinance amendment was “too late,” and protested human rights such as police violence. "The Chinese government is trying to stop our protests by having the Hong Kong government withdraw the proposed amendments to the ordinance."
