The crew of Kobayashi, Conway and Lopez won the Silverstone Four Hours in their Toyota TS050 Hybrid on Sunday in the first round of the WEC World Endurance Championship 2019-2020 in Great Britain.

The Japanese manufacturer, winner in the last two editions of the 24 Hours of Le Mans with these semi-thermal mid-electric prototypes, has placed his second TS050 Hybrid, in the hands of the trio Buemi, Nakajima, Hartley, on the second step of the podium at 1.9 dry of the winners.

The Swiss team Rebellion Racing and its Berthon crew, Derani, Duval complete the podium on the 3rd step of the proto LMP1 category, has a lap.

Before the start of the race, a minute of silence was observed in memory of the young French driver Anthoine Hubert, who died during the F2 race on Saturday at Spa-Francorchamps.

The two Toyota prototypes were the fastest in qualifying on the UK's 5.9-kilometer resurfaced circuit this year.

The next round of the FIA ​​World Endurance Championship will be held in Japan during the six hours of Fuji on October 6, 2019.
