First Deputy Minister of Defense of Russia Valery Gerasimov and Chairman of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of the US Armed Forces Joseph Dunford discussed issues of Russian-American relations in the military field.
“The military leaders discussed a number of topical issues in Russian-American relations in the military field,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement to RT.
The telephone conversation took place on August 21.
