US renews license for Huawei for 90 days
The United States extended the license for Huawei for 90 days, which will allow the Chinese company to purchase American products, US Secretary of Commerce Wilbur Ross told Fox Business.
“We give them (American companies. - RT ) a little time to wean ourselves (from trading with Huawei. - RT ),” Ross said.
Earlier media reported that the US Department of Commerce intends to extend the delay of restrictions against Huawei by 90 days.
In July, Huawei’s chairman of the board of directors, Liang Hua, called the “unfair and dishonest” decision to blacklist the company and called for lifting export restrictions.
