Long-running US lawsuit against Huawei to go to court in January 2026. Case accuses Huawei of misleading banks about its business in Iran.

Since 2019, the U.S. has restricted Huawei's access to American technology. The case led to the arrest of Huawei's chief financial officer, Meng Wanzhou, in Vancouver, Canada, in 2018. The trial is expected to last between 4 and 6 months, according to the judge in the case, who said it would be "wise" to set a trial date.
