It was at 19.30 that the Rescue Service was alerted to Hammarkullen in Gothenburg. It should then have started burning during a work with a contact line inside the tram tunnel.
"There is a lot of smoke in the tunnel," says Lotta Molander, alarm and command operator at the rescue service in Greater Gothenburg to GT.
Tram lines 4, 8 and 9 are affected by the fire according to West Traffic.
In connection with the fire, parts of Angered became powerless, writes GP. However, by 20.30 the power was back.
