Previously, the cost of restoration work in the Cathedral of Notre Dame after the fire was estimated at € 1 billion.

Vladimir Roitman, a professor at the Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and the Academy of State Fire Service of the Russian Emergencies Ministry, commented on the reports about the delay in calling firefighters in Notre Dame.
